Philosophy

More than Boxing

In here, we don't just work on your jab; we work on your character. To us, boxing is a philosophy for life. We prioritize discipline over motivation and honor over ego.

When you learn to face your fears under the lights, you'll find you're better equipped to handle whatever life throws at you outside the gym. Come for the fight, stay for the growth.

The Lab

A small room, a loud bag and nowhere to hide. Everyone in here is training for something.

What to expect

Your first session

Walking into a boxing gym for the first time is the hard part. Here is exactly how it goes.

  1. 01

    Book a one-hour slot

Pick a time from Coach Scrap's live calendar. One hour, one-to-one — a conversation and a real look at how we train.

  2. 02

    Show up and move

Wraps, mitts and fundamentals. Scrap reads where you are and builds the session around it, whether you have never thrown a punch or you have had fights.

  3. 03

    Leave with a plan

You will know what you are working on next and how often you would need to be in the lab to get there. Then it is your call.

Common questions

Do I need any experience?

No. Most of the lab walked in having never boxed. Sessions are private or small-group, so the work is built around your level rather than a class average.

What should I bring?

Athletic clothes, a water bottle and a towel. If you own gloves and wraps, bring them — if not, say so when you book and Scrap will sort you out.

Do I have to spar or compete?

Never unless you want to. Plenty of members train purely for fitness and craft. Competing is an option Scrap will only raise once you are ready for it.

Do I need a gym membership?

Coaching with Scrap is booked separately from gym access. You will need either a membership or a day pass at The Last Round to get in the door. Ask when you book and Scrap will walk you through the options.

How do I get started?

Book a one-hour session from the calendar, or send an application below and Scrap will reach out to you directly.
